Good morning!
Just wanted to give you the heads-up that my “Healthy Happy Hour” LIVE interview is back this week, and it’ll be one you don’t want to miss!
Amy Berger, MS, CNS is the author of three mind-blowing books:
The Stall Slayer: Seven Roadblocks to Keto Fat Loss and What to Do About Them,
and, with Dr. Eric Westman, End Your Carb Confusion: A Simple Guide to Customize Your Carb Intake for Optimal Health
Her motto is “keto without the crazy,” and I love her thoughtful, down-to-earth approach to gaining health without losing your mind.
There are so many great quotes in her work, but I want to share just one of them. End Your Carb Confusion addresses head-on the criticism that low-carb eating is too restrictive:
Missing out on life because of your weight or your health is restrictive. Cutting carbs and freeing yourself of these things isn’t restrictive; it’s liberating.
I love that. It’s a good mantra for those moments of weakness when that baby in your head starts throwing a temper tantrum, crying for chips or ice cream.
I hope you can join us on Thursday — we’ll talk about her journey, her work, tips for losing weight and keeping it real — plus, she’ll answer your questions.
If you prefer to tune in via Facebook, we’ll be there, too! You can find it in my author page. Or here’s the direct link.
I’ll see you there!
