Surely You Can't be Serious!

Well, folks, the inaugural Unremarkable Brain Book Club is in the, er… books. And man, it was something!

Lots of people gave an hour of their time last Tuesday night to come out and join us for a Live Q&A with Fitness Confidential author Vinnie Tortorich. What they got was a whole lot more!

Vinnie was great at telling us some of the stories behind his book — how it came to be, and how the world has changed since he wrote it. But then something interesting happened. Unbeknownst to me, a relative who’s who of low-carb luminaries decided to join us, including Mary Newport, MD, author of Clearly Keto, Ben Bocchicho, PhD, author of 15 Minutes to Fitness, and Jim Abrahams, founder of The Charlie Foundation (and creator of some of the funniest movies ever made!).

There were lots of great questions from our subscriber community, and lots of really fascinating discussion amongst our impromptu “panel.”

If you missed it, don’t panic. Just click the play button above to hear the audio (or go to Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or wherever else you get your pod on). Or to watch the video, you can head on over to my YouTube channel:

Either way, this is one you don’t want to miss!

and introducing…

It was so great to meet Dr. Mary Newport in person, especially since her new book, Clearly Keto is our December Book Club selection! This one addresses specifically the use of the ketogenic diet for Alzheimer’s and cognitive function, and gives some really practical tips that you can use to make food your weapon in helping you stay sharp as a tack for a very long time.

Pick it up here, and keep an eye out for a Zoom invite for the week of January 2nd. Just in time to get those resolutions up and running!

Thanks again to everyone who tuned in. You guys are the best!
